Brothers Arrested Following Altercation At Gorin Home
A trio of Gorin men are facing charges in Scotland County following a brawl at one of their residences. The Scotland County Sheriff’s Department responded to the home of Robert Dundee in Gorin at approximately 10:30 p.m. January 13 capping off a busy night for the office.
Sheriff Wayne Winn received the call while he was on the scene of a traffic accident on Ridge Road where a semi-truck owned by Cantril Feed had run off the road and caused traffic to be blocked.
The sheriff responded to the Gorin residence along with additional officers from the department who had just completed a high speed chase earlier in the evening helping capture a man wanted for theft of anhydrous ammonia.
Two brothers were arrested at the Gorin residence and charged with third-degree assault following an alleged altercation with the homeowner. Shawn Tetlo, 35 and Eric Tetlo, both were taken into custody and later transported to the Adair County Detention Center where they were booked before being released on a summons to appear.
Dundee was charged with property damage. He allegedly broke out the headlights of a vehicle parked at his property, which reportedly instigated the conflict.
Additional charges are pending against the Tetlo brothers.
