Miss Northeast Missouri Pageant Set For Nov. 20th
On November 20th eight young ladies from around the area will be vying for the new title of Miss Northeast Missouri. The former Miss Clark County scholarship pageant is only a week and a half away and the pageant committees are busy at work collecting scholarships for the contestants and advertising for the program booklet to fund the pageants expenses.
This year’s pageant has a bit of a different line up for the judges. All contestants are now featured in a Casual Wear competition, which is an outfit of their choice that would be worn out on a Friday night with friends. This competition is not yet judged this year. Contestants are still featured in the Lifestyle and Fitness Wear, Artistic Expression in Talent, and Presence and Poise in Evening Gown.
The public this year will get their first glimpse of the interview portion of competition. Due to a scoring change contestants are now judged on a brief on stage interview in the evenings competition. All competition scores will be tabulated by auditors to crown the new Miss Northeast Missouri.
Tickets will be on sale at American Family Insurance Company in Kahoka starting the 15th of November.
“Pick up your tickets today and come to see the contestants on November 20th at the Clark County Middle School at 7:00 p.m. and find out who will be competing at the Miss Missouri level in June of 2005,” said organizer Davin Acklie.
