Jody Ray Fry, 45, of Moberly, MO, died December 11, 2003, at the University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, MO.

He was born April 27, 1958 in Memphis, MO, the son of Dewey J. Fry, Jr. and Roene L. March Fry. He was raised in Memphis, MO by his father and step-mother, Mary L. Boone Fry.

He graduated from Scotland County High School in 1975. He graduated from Quincy College and during this time he started gradually losing his sight and became blind due to his diabetes. For the past few years he made his home in Moberly, MO.

He is survived by his mother, Roene L. Peters and step-father, Dallas L. Peters of Monroe City, MO; one brother, Jerry L. Fry and wife, Michelle of Downing, MO; one sister, Julie Forbes of Columbia, MO; two step-sisters, Robyn E. Davis and husband, Frank Davis of Alabama, and Jillynda S. Hurley and husband, Richard Hurley of Memphis, MO; two aunts, Mary Belle Moffett of Memphis, MO, and Martha March of Ft. Madison, IA; several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, step-mother and one nephew.

Graveside services were held December 18, 2003, at St. Jude Cemetery in Monroe City, MO, by the Rev. Bruce Bouman.
