IDA MAE WEBSTER
(5/31/1911 - 1/21/2004)




Ida May Webster, 92, of Kahoka, MO, died January 21, 2004, at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, MO.

She was born May 31, 1911, on Scotland County, MO, the daughter of T. George and Matie E. Smith Shannan.

She married Russell Webster in March 8, 1936, in Memphis, MO. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1991.

Mrs. Webster was a lifelong resident of Missouri and spent over 30 winters in Lakeland, FL.

She was a graduate of Memphis High School. She taught school at the Jordan School for a year and then became a homemaker.

She was a member of the New Woodville Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and had made many special items for her family.

She is survived by three sons, George W. Wagner and wife, Jan of Luray, MO, Stanley J. Webster and wife, Virginia of Kahoka, MO, and Russell Webster and his wife, Bonnie of Wyaconda, MO; one daughter, Geraldine M. Berringer of St. Petersburg, FL; nine grandchildren, Ralph W. Wagner and his wife, Shelley, Holly S. Wagner, Jo Lee Orton and her husband, Larry, Eric Webster, Jeff Webster, Debbie Underwood, Kevin Underwood and wife, Nancy, John W. Roth, and Tia Roth; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ardyth Louise Roth; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Lynn Roth; one sister and five brothers.

Funeral services were held January 24, 2004 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Rev. Ernest Deatrick and Rev. Rick Seaton officiating. Burial was in the New Woodville Cemetery, rural Wyaconda, MO. Memorials may be made to the New Woodville Church.
