ANTONE (TONY) DE-SILVA MARSHALL
(9/15/1911 - 1/12/2004)




Antone (Tony) De-Silva Marshall, 92, of Memphis, MO, formerly of Paget, Bermuda, died January 12, 2004, rural Baring, MO.

Antone was born September 15, 1911, in Astwood Cove, Warwick, Bermuda the son of Antone and Rosie Benevides Marshall.

He married Alice Gleason and to this union four children were born.

Antone worked for his cousin’s business, “Marshall Maintenance” as a handyman. For the last two and a half years he lived with his son, Terry until the time of his death.

He is survived by his three sons, Charles Marshall and his wife, Leslie of Flats, Bermuda, Stanley and his wife, Jo of Smiths, Bermuda, and Terry and his wife, Kathy of Baring, MO; one daughter, Pamela Marshall of Southampton, Bermuda; ten grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Anne Marie, Ryan, Theresa, Roger, Brett, Sara, Terrence, Jr. and James; and six great-grandchildren, Hayley, Samantha, Caitlin, CourtneyRae, Alisha, and Alexander; one brother, George Marshall; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends of the Evangelical Church family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Marshall, September 1990.

The family has suggested memorials to the Hospice 2000 and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral services were held at The Evangelical Church, Paget, Bermuda, on January 18, 2004. Interment was in the St. Paul’s Cemetery, Paget, Bermuda. Arrangements were handled by the Amis Memorial Chapels, Warwick, Bermuda. Local arrangements were handled by the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO.
