Georgia Lorene Prickett, 88, of Kahoka, MO, formerly of Wyaconda, MO, passed away March 25, 2004, in the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, MO.

The daughter of Wilford and Sarah K. (Sadie) Walker Prickett, she was born on September 16, 1915, in Neeper, MO.

Georgia was a graduate of Wyaconda High School and was a lifelong Clark County resident. She was also a member of the Wyaconda Christian Church.

Georgia worked for many years in the Burlington Davenport button factory.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Myrtle, Lucille, and Madelon Prickett, and one brother, Roland Prickett.

Survivors include seven cousins, Maxine Walker of Lewistown, MO, Nelda Hilpert of Memphis, MO, Junior Walker of Kirksville, MO, Delores Decker of Cypress, CA, and Eleanor Nichols, Bob Walker, and Gertrude Duncan, all of Kahoka, MO; and dear friends, Jan Wagner, Bonnie Sheffler, and Phyllis Hutchinson.

Graveside services were held March 29, 2004, in the Wyaconda Cemetery, Wyaconda, MO, with the Reverend Ernest Deatrick officiating. Memorials have been suggested to the Wyaconda Cemetery and may be mailed to or left at Gerth Funeral Service, 115 South Main, Memphis, MO 63555. Condolences may be sent to Miss Prickett’s family at Arrangements were handled by Gerth Funeral Service from their Wyaconda chapel.
