FRANKIE JAMES WORKMAN
(5/18/1952 - 4/2/2004)



Frankie James Workman, 51, of Memphis, MO, formerly of Bloomfield, IA, died April 2, 2004, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa, IA. He was born May 18, 1952 in Fairfield, IA, to Frank Henry and Betty Joan Montgomery Workman. He married Ann Cronkhite, January 2, 1993 in Lufkin, TX. He was an over the road truck driver working for PFS of Oskaloosa, IA, and had served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his wife; his father of Fairfield, IA; two daughters, Tammy of Hampton, IA, and Tara of Pelion, SC; five sons, Jerome of Oregon, Bradley of Iowa City, IA, Brian of Burlington, IA, Steve of Pelion, SC, and David of Hageman Air Force Base, NM; and 13 grandchildren; five sisters, Marsha of Kansas City, MO, Diana of Memphis, MO, Elizabeth of Missouri, Charlotte of Fairfield, ME, and Becky of Cedartown, GA; two brothers, Robert of Mt. Pleasant, IA, and Michael of Monmouth, IL. His mother preceded him in death. His body has been cremated according to his request. A celebration of life was held April 5, 2004, at the McGowen Recreation and Wildlife Area, east of Bloomfield, IA. A memorial has been established to his family and may be sent to the Henkenius-Priester Funeral Home, 18754 Hwy. 63, Bloomfield, IA.
