MARY ANN YEARNS
(6/8/1947 - 4/15/2004)



Mary Ann Yearns, 56, of rural Queen City, MO, passed away at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO, April 15, 2004.

The daughter of Claude Leslie and Iola Ruth (Goode) Redenbaugh, she was born on June 8, 1947 in Centerville, IA.

Mary Ann resided and grew up in Davis County, IA, and graduated from the Davis County High School.

On July 9, 1967, in Bloomfield, IA, she was united in marriage to Georgie Leroy Yearns and to this union three daughters were born, Michelle Ann, Terry Lynn and Marcia Lee.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy of rural Queen City, MO; three daughters, Michelle Ann Yearns of Queen City, MO, Terry Lynn Campbell and husband, Michael of Memphis, MO and Marcia Lee Rysdam and fiancÚ, Walter Morris of Bloomfield, IA; four grandchildren, Kyle Edward Garret Rysdam, Ronald Lavarne Rysdam, Grant Campbell and Laney Campbell; and two uncles, Harland (Jake) Goode of Ankeney, IA, and Clay Goode and wife, Lorena of Washington, IA.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

Mary Ann was a member of the Christian Church in Queen City, MO. She worked for Truman State University in Centennial Hall Cafeteria where she was a line server.

Funeral services were held April 18, 2004 at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, MO, with George Bradburn, pastor of the Queen City Christian Church officiating. Music was provided by organist, Maureen Watkins and soloist, George Bradburn. Pallbearers were Darel Yearns, Gary Yearns, Pat Yearns, Dale Yearns, Bill Yearns, Kelly Yearns, Walter Morris and Michael Campbell. Memorials have been established for the family. Burial was in the Germania Cemetery, south of Lancaster, MO. Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, MO was in charge of arrangements.
