KENNETH CLARE PETERSON
(12/3/1944 – 5/4/2004)



Kenneth Clare Peterson died May 4, 2004 in Colorado Springs, CO.

He was the son of Ethel Livonia Peterson and Fay Oakley, born December 3, 1944, in Iowa City, IA. He was adopted by his grandparents, Coleman Oliver and Ola (Goodson) Peterson, when he was a young boy, and they lived in Clark County, Wyaconda, MO.

He graduated from the Wyaconda, MO High School with the class of 1963. He retired from the United States Army. He was working with the Spherion Technology Co. in Colorado Springs, CO, at the time of his death.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph Norman Peterson of Wyaconda, MO; sisters, Edythe Aldena Richards of LaHarpe, IL and Doris Jean Patton of Prince George, VA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; half- brothers and sisters by Vernon Dighton: Verna, Joe, Joyce, Mary, Strad and Linda, all of the Marion, IA area.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coleman Peterson in 1969 and Ola Peterson in 1963; his mother, Ethel died February 29, 1972 in Cedar Rapids, IA; his sister, Patricia Ann Peterson Davis in 1999.

His body was cremated. His ashes will be buried on his grandparents’ lot in the Wyaconda, MO City Cemetery
