Sally A. (Ward) Henze, 64, of Fort Collins, CO, died September 23, 2004, near Kearney, NE, in an automobile accident.

She was born September 1, 1940, in Tulsa, OK.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Evansville, IN, and worked many years as a registered nurse and in home health care in Fort Collins, CO. She also was a member of the Adult Protection League of Fort Collins, CO and was a beloved member of her quilting group, Sisters in Stitches.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Henze; two sisters, Betty Harrison of Mount Airy, NC, and Mary Johnson of Otwell, IN; four brothers, Pat, John and Mike Ward, all of Lamar, IN, and Steve Ward of New Philadelphia, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Ward and Lelia (Bounds) Ward, and in 1996, her brother, David Ward.

A funeral service was held September 28, 2004, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Santa Claus, IN, Father James Sauer officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Chrysostom Church Cemetery in New Boston, IN.
