LYLE KISSELL, SR.

Lyle (Butch) Leslie Kissell, Sr., 61, of Downing, Missouri, formerly of Millersburg, Illinois, died October 31, 2004 at his home in Downing, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 5 at the First Baptist Church, Aledo, Illinois. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the church. Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kissell was born July 8, 1943 in Rock Island, the son of Lyle and Dorothea Lingard Kissell. He married Carol Richeal on June 26, 1960 in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Butch was employed by Richard Viager as a plasterer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, Downing, MO; mother, Dorothea Kissell, Milan, IL; daughters, Pamela and Randy Belt, Memphis, MO, Lisa Ann and Bill Bergheger, Memphis, MO, Melinda Sue Whitmire, Muscatine, Iowa, Tracy Renee Recor, Pitwater, Michigan; sons, Harold Ray and Sherry Kissell, Memphis, MO, Lyle Leslie and Beth Kissell, Jr., Keithsburg, IL; sisters, Karen and Dave DeShane, Erie, IL and Bonnie and Bob Anderson, Davenport, Iowa. Also survived by Jay Recor, Memphis, MO, and Jackie Davis, Keokuk, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
