Beatrice Kelsey, 72, of rural Lancaster, MO, passed away on November 6, 2004, at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, MO.

The daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Alexander) Keyte, she was born on March 10, 1932, in rural Oskaloosa, IA.

She was united in marriage to Max Dewayne Kelsey and to this union four children were born, Linda, Rex, Rodger and Rhonda.

Beatrice is survived by her husband, Max of rural Lancaster, MO; two daughters, Linda Walker and husband, Mitchel of Mantee, MS and Rhonda Jackson of Lancaster, MO; two sons, Rex Kelsey and wife, Karron of Downing, MO and Rodger Kelsey and wife, Glenda of Brookfield, MO; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Her parents; one brother, Gerold Keyte; and one sister, Lola Emnons, preceded Beatrice in death.

Beatrice was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be certainly missed by all of her family as she treasured each one as well as her many friends and neighbors.

The body has been cremated and the services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kirksville, MO on Saturday, November 13, 2004, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation being held there also at 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the services will be Ronald Munn. Final arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, MO.
