BARRY SMALL
(9/26/1953 – 11/29/2004)



Barry Small, 51, of Lancaster, MO, passed away at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO, November 29, 2004.

The son of Thomas Andrew and Irene (Berry) Small, he was born on September 26, 1953 in Kirksville, MO.

Barry was a 1972 graduate of the Davis County High School in Bloomfield, IA.

He was married to Deborah Piatt and to this union two children were born, Susan and Robert.

Survivors include his mother, Irene Small of Lancaster, MO; his two children, Susie and Bobby Small of Downing, MO; two brothers, Allen Small of Lancaster, MO, and Brian Small and wife, Susan of Hartsburg, MO; one sister, Susan Brown and husband, George Fanning of Burlington, IA; his ex-wife, Deborah Small of Downing, MO; friend, Vicki Billington of Kirksville, MO and his best buddy, Cuz of Lancaster, MO.

Barry was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Andrew Small on June 2, 2004.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, MO with Sonny Smyser, pastor of the Lancaster United Methodist Church officiating. Music will be taped selections. Pallbearers will be Craig Burkhalter, Rod Elliott, David Small, Brian Small, Charlie Cobb, Tommy Redding and Jeff Crump.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, between the hours of 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, MO. Memorials have been established for his children’s educational fund. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, MO.
