Local Indoor Archery League To Start April 3rd
Little Fox Outdoor Shop is looking for a band of merry men with bows. Actually it can be a band of men, women or youths as the new facility is seeking entrants for the start of its weekly indoor archery league.
The ground work is still being laid for the league which is scheduled to begin Saturday, April 3rd.
Manager David Dalton stated there will be adult and youth categories that will feature a monthly tournament for the top 10 to 12 shooters. The top five participants each month will receive trophies and will qualify for the year-end championship shoot.
Shooters will be graded each week on their performance. There will not be a specific league night. Instead, archers can shoot anytime during the week during the store’s normal business hours.
“Right now we plan to let you shoot as many times as you like during the week and we will take your best score,” Dalton said.
Currently more than 40 archers have expressed interest in the league stated Dalton, who expects more archers to join once the league gets rolling.
The range is considering offering a punch card or some other form of discounted rate for league members. The normal rate for a 30-round shoot is $10.
