Tigers Take Triangular Meet At Timber Ridge

The Scotland County golf team had an impressive showing on its home course, winning a triangular meet over Canton and Schuyler County by more than 20 strokes.

The Tigers took home top honors by shooting a 148 at Timber Ridge Golf Course April 6. Corvin Drummond led the way with a two-over par 36. Marcus Shalley and Kyle Lister each shot 37s and Zach McBee rounded out the teamís score with a 38. Logan Trueblood had a 46 on the afternoon.

The SCR-I junior varsity team actually finished second in the event with a combined score of 166, three shots better than the Schuyler County varsity squad. Cantonís varsity team took fourth place with a score of 180.

Nick Oldham led the jayvee team with a round of 37. Andy Cowell shot a 41 followed by Matt Wickert with a 42 and Jessie Mattingly with a 46. Colby Brown turned in a round of 54.
