Cotton To Play In Herald-Whig All-Star Game

The Scotland County R-I sports program will have equal representation in Quincy in June. Jessie Cotton recently was named to the Missouri all-star basketball team for the annual Quincy Herald-Whig All-Star Basketball game set for June 12.

Cotton, a senior at SCR-I, earned all-conference and all district honors as the Lady Tigers second leading scorer during the 2003-04 season.

SCR-I will have players in both contests. Cotton will represent the school in the girls game while SCR-Iís Aaron Dale will participate in the boys all-star contest as the Missouri teams try to end the Illinois schools string of victories.
