Gorin Man Seriously Hurt In ATV Crash

A Gorin man was seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Knox County on May 29th at 9:45 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Robert F. Goldenstein, 25, was riding a 2001 Kawasaki ATV northbound on County Road 193, approximately six miles north of Highway 6, when the driver failed to stop at a T intersection and ran off the road and through a barbed-wire fence.

Goldenstein was lifeflighted from the scene to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, the Knox County Ambulance Service, the Knox County Rescue Squad and the Knox City Fire Department.
