Free Trees Available To City Residents

Again this year the City of Memphis is giving away a limited number of trees to property owners interested in free shade for years to come. The trees are planted on city right of ways by city employees with consideration being given to utility lines. The trees are generally five to six feet tall and may be planted where older or diseased trees had to be removed.

Anyone interested in a tree should contact City Hall at 660-465-7285 with their name and phone number. Street Supt. Roy Monroe will contact interested parties.
