Kahoka Man Hurt In Crash Near Granger

A Kahoka man sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 136 at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, April 7th.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Daniel D. Daw, 21, was eastbound in a 1994 Ford Explorer when the vehicle went off the south side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned several times before coming to rest on its top. The crash occurred ½ mile east of the Granger turnoff.

Members of the Scotland County Rescue Squad used the Jaws-of-Life to extricate Daw from the vehicle.

He was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Memorial Hospital.

The patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department, Scotland County First Responders, Memphis Police Department, Clark County Sheriff’s Department, Scotland County Fire and Rescue and the Gorin Fire Department.
