Miss Northeast Missouri Send Off To Be Held June 3rd

The send-off celebration for Miss Northeast Missouri, Jessica Erwin, will be held this Friday, June 3, at Johnson Park in Memphis, at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend to express good luck wishes to Jessica.

Jessica will be leaving on Saturday, June 4 to travel to Mexico, MO, where she will be competing for the title of Miss Missouri 2005. Jessica will spend the entire week preparing for preliminary competitions, which include talent and casual wear on Wednesday, swim wear on Thursday, and evening gown and on-stage interview on Friday. There will also be a private 12-minute interview with a panel of five state-qualified judges on Tuesday.

She will be competing alongside of 36 other young women from around the state of Missouri for the crown and the opportunity to represent Missouri in the Miss America Pageant this fall.

Jessica will be performing the song, “We Can,” by LeAnn Rimes for her talent selection which will be on Wednesday evening. The Miss Missouri Pageant will come to a close on Saturday evening, June 11, when the contestants will be narrowed down to 10 and then will shrink to the top five contestants before concluding with the naming of the new 2005 Miss Missouri.

Jessica is the daughter of Lon and Saralyn Erwin and is a 2005 graduate of Scotland County R-1 High School and plans to attend college in the fall to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
