Two Memphis Men Escape Crash With Minor Injuries

An early morning accident September 16th north of Memphis left two Memphis men with only minor injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Karl B. Snyder, 18, of Memphis, was driving a 1994 Oldsmobile southbound on Highway 15, two miles north of Memphis when the accident occurred at around 2:00 a.m. The wheels of the van apparently dropped off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected, and the van crossed the road and struck a ditch before overturning and coming to rest on its top in the ditch.

Tim L. Robinson, 20, of Memphis, a passenger in the vehicle, suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Scotland County Memorial Hospital by private vehicle. Snyder did not seek treatment for his injuries.

The patrol report indicated summonses are pending in the investigation.
