Memphis Man Hurt In Crash On Lovers Lane

A one-vehicle accident late Sunday evening resulted in serious injuries to a Scotland County man.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Bryan D. Blake, 25, was injured in the crash on Lovers Lane just west of Memphis. The accident occurred at 11:40 p.m. on November 20th.

Blake was eastbound in a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup when he apparently failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway. The truck overturned and struck a utility pole before coming to rest on the driver’s side.

He was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Memorial Hospital.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department and the Memphis Police Department.

According to investigators, charges are pending versus Blake.
