MARJORIE MAXINE KUTZNER

Marjorie Maxine Kutzner, 73, of Memphis, MO, died March 13, 2005, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.

She was born March 3, 1932, at Hitt, MO, to Elmer Wallace and Neva Ketchum Barrickman.

She attended Wilson Country School and Memphis High School.

She was married to Henry Walter Kutzner on March 3, 1951, in Albuquerque, NM. He died February 5, 1981.

Marjorie was a housewife and also did housekeeping at the former Grandview Motel in Memphis, MO before her retirement. She enjoyed playing Bingo with friends and going to Catfish Bend Casino.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Fischer and her husband, Rick of Memphis, MO; a son, Mark Kutzner of Colorado Springs, CO; her mother, Neva Henderson of Memphis, MO; a granddaughter, Pam Jenkins and special friend, Wes Jensen of Belnap, IA; and two great-grandsons, Marcus Jenkins and Mathew Jenkins of Balnap, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son; daughter and granddaughter, who died in infancy and two sisters, Geneva Elaine, who died in infancy and Betty Darlene Fogle.

Services will be Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the Memphis Funeral Home, Memphis, MO, with Reverend Charles Hammack officiating. Burial will follow in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO. Casket bearers will be Ronnie Kutzner, Steve Golden, Chris Phillips, Jeremy Phillips, Wes Jensen and Mikel Becraft. Paul Lancaster, John Matlock, and John H. Johnson, Jr. will serve as honorary casket bearers. A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, where the family will be present to greet friends and relatives.

A memorial may be made to the Respiratory Therapy Department at Scotland County Memorial Hospital, Memphis, MO. Memphis Funeral Home, Memphis, MO is in charge of arrangements.
