GARY LuROY CRUMP
(4/22/1942 5/31/2005)



Gary LuRoy Crump, 63, of Kirksville, MO, formerly of Lancaster, MO, passed away at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO, May 31, 2005.

The son of Birney and Anna Lee (Martin) Crump and step-son of Paul Welsh, Gary was born on April 22, 1942, in Winfield, IA.

Gary was a graduate of Lancaster High School with the class of 1960.

On August 7, 1960, he was united in marriage to Deloris Brown and to this union two sons were born, Brent and Bryan. On August 17, 2000, he was united in marriage to Lacy Belt.

Survivors include his wife, Lacy of Kirksville, MO; his children, Brent Crump and wife, Kathy of Lancaster, MO and Bryan Crump and wife, Tami of Lancaster, MO; seven grandchildren, Krissy McArtor, Heather Crump, Nathan Crump, Nikole Crump, Anthony Crump, Timothy Crump and Haley Crump; five sisters, Mary Lee Dierling of Brashear, MO, Pamela West and husband, Ed of Centralia, MO, Penny Homer of Greentop, MO, Paula Harris and husband, Phil of Blue Springs, MO and Mamie Brown of Lansing, MI and a step-father, Paul Welsh of Lancaster, MO.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his grandfather, Hollis Crump.

Gary was a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church.

Gary was employed as a real estate agent, the Lancaster Excelsior and had been a volunteer for the Nutrition Site for many years.

Funeral services were held June 3, 2005, at the Lancaster United Methodist Church in Lancaster, MO with Sonny Smyser, pastor of the Lancaster United Methodist Church officiating. Music was provided by organist, Maureen Watkins and soloist, Heather Crump. Pallbearers were Bryan Crump, Brent Crump, Anthony Crump, Timothy Crump, Jason Fremon and R.D. Homer. Honorary pallbearers were Ed West, Robert Fremon, Randy Rebura, Kirk Dierling, Kent Dierling, Justin West, Jason West, Martin Harris, and Christopher Nigh. Memorials have been established for the family. Burial was in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, MO. Arrangements were under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, MO.
