Vickie Lee Wilson, 46, of Casper, WY, died July 22, 2005, at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home.

Vickie was born August 27, 1958, the daughter of Edson LeRoy and Nora Lee (Mathes) Orton, at Kirksville, MO.

She graduated from high school in Memphis, MO, in 1976. Vickie also graduated from Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, MO.

In 1981 she moved to Douglas, WY, and in the late 1980ís she moved to Casper, WY. She married Dan T. Wilson in February of 1984 in Douglas, WY. They later divorced.

She owned the Crazy Crab Restaurant in Casper. She worked at Wyoming Medical Center for the past 10 years. Vickie was a member of the First Christian Church in Memphis, MO, Azen Jolly Timers 4-H and the Northern Star. She enjoyed her family, genealogy, painting, quilting, sewing, gardening and playing bingo.

Vickie is survived by a daughter, Nora Christina Gaines of Casper, WY; significant other, Rick Holmes of Casper, WY; three sisters, Penny Holt of Arbela, MO, Julie Hobart of Green City, MO, and Amber Orton of Sullivan, MO; two grandchildren with one on the way; five nephews; two great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held July 28, 2005, at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home in Casper, WY, with Chaplain Ellis Kaster from the Wyoming Medical Center officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery in Casper, WY. Memorials may be made to the Central Wyoming Hospice Program, 318 South Wilson, Casper, WY 82601 or the Polycystic Kidney Disease, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 400, Kansas City, MO 64114. Newcomer Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
