MARIE EMOGENE BEELER

Marie Emogene (Aeschliman) Beeler, 89, of Lancaster, MO, passed away at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO, August 30, 2005.

The daughter of Eugene and Alta Effie (Whitacre) Aeschliman, she was born on February 14, 1916, in rural Lancaster, MO.

Emogene graduated from the Lancaster High School with the class of 1934.

On May 6, 1939, in St. Joseph, MO, she was united in marriage to Paul Leroy Beeler and to this union four children were born.

Survivors include her three sons, Rex Beeler of Lancaster, MO, Max Beeler and wife, Natalie of Columbia, MO, and Jon George Beeler of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren, Darlene Sewell, Linda Kraatz, Paul Michael Beeler, Ryan Brown, Danielle Smyser, Dustin Beeler, LaCrista Beeler, and Amber Beeler; three great-grandchildren, Kyle Sewell, Brooklyn Smyser and Laine Brown; one sister, Hildred Gardine and husband, Guy of Memphis, MO; nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Emogene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul on October 12, 1997; one daughter in infancy, and two sisters, Lucille Branaum and Mildred Aeschliman.

Emogene was a life-long resident of Lancaster, MO, where she and her husband owned and operated Beeler Motor Company for many years.

Emogene was a member of the Lancaster Christian Church of Lancaster, MO, where she attended faithfully.

Funeral services were held September 1, 2005, at the Lancaster Christian Church with Rob Green, pastor of that church officiating. Music was provided by organist Maureen Watkins and soloist, Cole Tippett. Pallbearers were David Gardine, Don Branaum, John Carl Beeler, Phil Beeler, Jack Beeler, and Mark (Poe) Steggall. Burial was in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, MO. Arrangements were under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, MO.
