Pauline Elizabeth Burdick, 74, of Rutledge passed away November 19, 2005 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

She was born the daughter of Arthur Steven and Ella (Lewis) Sprague on May 22, 1931 in Muscatine, Iowa.

Pauline attended the Garfield School in Muscatine. She led a very interesting life as a professional wrestler. Pauline performed in several circuits across the country and internationally under many names, including Donna Dillinger and the Blonde Bomber.

She also worked as a cook in Muscatine and other areas. Pauline enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kirksville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dennis Sprague; brother, Jim Sprague; and a half-brother, Ray Ervin.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Burdick of Rutledge; sons, Stanley Burdick of Rutledge and Darrell Lee of Ft. Smith, AR; daughters Pam Smith and Mary Ann Riddle of Muscatine; a brother, Ronald Eugene Sprague of Muscatine; half-brother Jack Erwin of Muscatine; two special grandsons J. J. Sprague of Seoul, South Korea, and David Lee of Jackson, MS; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Friends wishing to sign the register can visit the Gerth Funeral Home in Memphis.

Memorials are suggested to the family and can be left at or mailed to the Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main St., Memphis, MO 63555.
