Jerry Lee Mohr, 62, of Arbela, Missouri, died December 24, 2005 at the Boone County Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

He was born March 2, 1943 at Etna, Missouri to Carl Frederick and Louise House Mohr. He graduated from Gorin High School with the class of 1961. He married Della Mae Waller, July 4, 1964, at Etna, Missouri. To this union one son, Larry E. Mohr, was born. Jerry was affiliated with the Methodist Church. He was a farmer and enjoyed working with his herds of cattle and visiting with his neighbors. He found special joy in spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; his son, Larry Mohr and his wife, Amanda, of Arbela, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kyle Mohr and Eric Mohr and his mother, Louise Mohr.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will open at the Memphis Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2005 with the family present to receive relatives and friends between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. No funeral service is planned. Private burial of cremains will be at the Etna Cemetery. Honorary bearers will be Tom Priebe, Kenneth Dieterich, Dennis Kraus, Stanley Mohr, Randy Mathes, Gary Cochenour and Willis Gorrell. Memorials may be made to the Missouri Kidney Foundation and may be left at or mailed to Memphis Funeral Home, 378 South Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555-1461.
