Clark County Blasts Tigers In Tourney Opener

Despite seeing school called off Thursday because of the weather, the Scotland County basketball team still made the trip to Highland that evening to finally start tournament play after two previous postponements. While Jack Frost was finally letting up outdoors, he still had a hold on the Tigers offense as Clark County rolled to an 80-43 victory over SCR-I.

Bryce Blomme led SCR-I with 13 points. Greg Neagle added nine points before fouling out. The loss sent the Tigers’ record to 1-8 on the season.
