Raiders Overpower SCR-I In Tourney Semi-Finals

The Scotland County Tigers didn’t have long to celebrate its first round victory in the North Shelby Tournament. Two days after besting Knox County, the Tigers drew the unenviable task of facing the state’s number one ranked team on its own court.

The Raiders dashed any hopes of a winning streak for Scotland County as 6’10” center Cody Stoneburner scored 32 points, 20 of which came in the first half when North Shelby built a commanding 58-27 lead.

Scott Ratcliffe poured in 25 points to give the Raiders (12-1) a potent 1-2 punch that the Tigers simply had no answers for.

Jared Shelley scored 11 points to lead Scotland County (2-12). Bryce Blomme added 10 points.
