Two Tigers Earn Campus Bowl All Conference Honors

Two players from the Scotland County campus bowl team were recently honored by the coaches from the Tri-Rivers Conference.

Julie Triplett was named to to the All-Conference team as the league’s second leading scorer in academic challenges. Triplett answered an average of 8.14 toss-up questions per match, trailing only Eden Hudson of North Shelby, who had a 9.29 scoring average. Joining the duo on the all conference team were Cody Couch (8.0) of Knox County, Andrew Cook (7.57) of Clark County, Blake Tate (6.86) of Putnam County, Bryan Jackson (6.6) and David Melton (6.5) of Brookfield, and Oran Batson (6.4) of Milan.

Lance Smith received honorable mention all-conference honors with a 4.71 scoring average. Joining him on the honorable mention team were: Jon Jacobs (5.0) of Schuyler County, Aaron Hustead (4.8) and Rachel Delaney (3.0) of Knox County, Gabe Shoup (4.0) of Clark County, Matt Sangert (4.0) and Jessica Bolte (3.29) of North Shelby, Craig Richardson (3.71) of Milan and Nathan Smith (3.0) of Putnam County.
