Tigers Win Golf Match At Milan

The Scotland County golf team won a four-team match held at Milan on April 27th. The Tigers shot a 162 to defeat Princeton by eight strokes. The SCR-I junior varsity had the third best score (178) overall in the match, finishing ahead of the Milan and Putnam County varsity squads.

SCR-Iís Matt Wickert tied with Andy Herrington of Milan for the best individual score. Both players shot a 38 to win co-medalist honors.

Zach McBee carded a 40 for the Tigers followed by Joseph Spurgeon with a 41 and Marcus Shalley with a 43. Kyle Lister shot a 44 for the varsity team.

The JV squad was led by Andy Cowell who shot a 41. Logan Trueblood and Travis Trueblood both shot 42ís followed by Dustin Roach and Loren Billington with rounds of 56.
