Indians Edge SCR-I At Twin Rivers

Clark County used some home cooking to get the best of the competition April 25 in a quadrangular golf meet held at Twin Rivers Golf Course in Kahoka.

The Indians shot a 184 to easily defeat Scotland County (203), Milan (204) and Canton (215).

The Tigers, missing three normal varsity starters, still held on for second place behind a round of 44 from Zach McBee. Joe Spurgeon shot a 52 and Andy Cowell had a 53. Jesse Mattingly shot a 54 while Loren Billington went to the clubhouse with a 61.

Clark County’s Brett Warner was the individual medalist for the event with a round of 40.
