Tigers Beat Midgets In Junior High Football

The Scotland County junior high football team improved to 2-3 on the season with a 14-0 victory over Putnam County on October 6 in Memphis.

Rod Sears and Caleb Hunt provided the Tigers two touchdowns while Kyle Shelley scored the two-point conversion.

Zach Anderson and Bryce Smith helped secure the shutout for the defense as both Tigers had interceptions in the win.

The Tigers bested the Midgets just three days after dropping a tough 16-0 loss to North Shelby that saw both teams scoreless through three periods of play.
