Speedway To Host Memphis Nationals Races This Weekend

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday fans will be witnessing the best in “Championship Racing” at the Memphis Nationals hosted by the Bentz GM Country Scotland County Speedway in Memphis.

Awesome payout with Saturday’s Late Model winner taking home $5,000, Modified winner $5,000, Stock Car $3,000, B-Mod $1,000, Hobby Stock $700, Cruiser and Pony Stock’s each $300. A stellar field of drivers in all classes will be on hand as 250 plus drivers are anticipated for this extravaganza.

Along with the local and area Late Model Stars drivers from the World Dirt Racing League, Mars Series, MLRA O’Reilly Series and the Deery Brothers Series will be racing.

Gates will open Thursday and Friday at 4:00 p.m., hot laps 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow. Saturday gates open at 2:00 p.m., hot laps 5:00 p.m., racing to follow. Two dollars off adult grandstand ticket coupons for Thursday and Friday’s races can be picked up in Memphis at the Memphis Auto and Truck Parts, Gas and More, RaceMart and the Memphis Democrat newspaper. In Kirksville at the Kirksville Brake and Muffler, in Kahoka at the Bentz GM Country and Trump Trucks, and in Edina at The Farm Shop.

Sponsors for this event are Memphis Auto and Truck Parts, Walker Motors Collision Repair, Cunningham Fertilizer, J’s Foods, Gas and More, Nemo Beer Wholesalers-Miller Lite and the Party Shack.
