Lady Tigers Earn Post-Season Softball Honors

The post-season awards are in for the 2005 high school softball season and several Scotland County Lady Tigers were honored by the area coaches.

Senior shortstop Ali Fromm was named the Tri-Rivers Conference First Team All Conference. Fellow senior Jamie Fuller received second team honors as did outfielder Kirsten Johnston. Kellyn Wickert, Lacey Jack and Deidra Dochterman were named to the honorable mention team.

Ashley Wallingford of Clark County was named the league’s most valuable player. Clint Smith of CCR-I was named the coach of the year.

The 2005 All-District Team was also announced with Fromm being named as an infielder and Johnston earning a spot among the three outfielders.
