Corn Growers Coalition To Host Dinner in Memphis

Farmers from four counties will be converging in Memphis on Saturday, February 4th for the annual meeting of the Corn Growers Coalition. The group serves producers from Scotland, Clark, Knox and Lewis counties.

“You are invited to an evening of food, fellowship and fun with the Corn Growers Coalition,” said organizer Dana Hauk. She indicated the event is open to the public and isn’t limited to corn growers.

The doors open at 6:00 p.m. at the Memphis V.F.W. A free dinner, prepared by the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary, will be served at 6:30 p.m. The meal will consist of roast beef, pork loin and all the fixings.

Following the meal, guests will receive a legislative update from Rep. Brian Munzlinger as well as updates from the Missouri Corn Growers Association.

Entertainment will be provided by Mandalynn and Rick Hontz. Guests will also have the opportunity to win several door prizes throughout the evening.
