Teens Hurt In Car Crash In Schuyler County

Three Memphis teenagers suffered moderate injuries in a one-car crash on Monday, May 22 in Schuyler County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Highway 136, six miles east of Lancaster.

A 1994 Pontiac driven by Paige N. Troutman, 16, was eastbound on Highway 136 when the car failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the north side of the roadway where it struck a tree.

Troutman and two passengers in the vehicle, Chaesi A. Renick, 15, and Anna M. Buckallew, 17, all sustained moderate injuries.

The girls were transported by Schuyler County Ambulance to Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department and the ambulance service.
