MoDOT Reopens Route AA Bridge

The bridge over Foreman Branch on Route AA east of Memphis was reopened to traffic on Monday, August 14 after being closed this summer for rehabilitation.

The bridge, located approximately Ĺ mile east of Route 15 in Scotland County, has a new, wider deck and has been strengthened to carry two lanes of traffic without load postings. New barrier curbs and guardrails have also been added to the approaches.

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the project to Boone Construction Company of Columbia, MO for $214,636.68.
