Homecoming Parade To be Held Friday

Scotland County R-I Homecoming week will come to a close Friday with the culmination of five days of Tiger pride from past and present students.

SCR-I celebrated spirit week in a variety of costumes. Monday was camouflage day followed up by Hawaiian Day. On Wednesday students and staff dressed as twins. Thursday is costume day with Friday saved for the traditional Blue and White Tiger Pride day.

The school will host a pep assembly and bon fire Thursday, September 28th following the completion of the junior high football game.

Friday September 29th will feature the homecoming parade. School will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. with the parade set to start at 2:15 p.m. Themes for the parade and floats will be sitcoms. Larry Riney will serve as Grand Marshal.

The homecoming football game pitting the Tigers versus Fayette will kick off at 7:00 p.m. The 2006 Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime when the float winners will also be announced.
