Iowa Teens Hurt In Crash Near Brock Station

Two Iowa teens were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Scotland County at 12:16 a.m. on November 20th.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Katherine N. McCullough was northbound on Highway 15 just north of Brock Station. The car traveled off the right side of the roadway where it struck a ditch and rolled twice before coming to rest on its wheels facing south. Both occupants in the car were ejected from the vehicle.

McCullough, 16, of Bloomfield, and her passenger, 16-year-old Mackenzie H. Gravett also of Bloomfield, both sustained minor injuries and were transported by the Scotland County Ambulance Service to Scotland County Memorial Hospital.

Gravett was then flown from SCMH by Air Evac helicopter to Iowa City, IA.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department, the Scotland County Rescue Squad and the ambulance service.
