RONALD WAYNE GRABER
(3/7/1942 – 7/9/2006)



Ronald Wayne Graber, 64, of Kirksville, MO, formerly of the Waterloo and Douglas County area, passed away July 9, 2006, at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

He was born the son of Charles P. and Dorothy Lee (Head) Graber on March 7, 1942 in Scotland County.

Ronald was educated in the Downing and Memphis school system. He married the former Karen Bollinger, and to this union two children were born.

He served three years in the United States Marine Corps. Ronnie enjoyed sitting on a bank with a fishing pole in his hands. He enjoyed being outdoors. Ronnie was a longtime member of the NRA.

Ronnie also collected stamps and coins. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends; he always had a smile for everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children: Ronnie Jr. and wife Dianna Graber and Maxene and husband Rod Latham, all of Omaha, NE; sister, Charlotte and husband Ellis Speer of Downing; brothers: Terry and wife Anita Graber of Valley, NE, Larry Graber of Kirksville, and Danny and wife Jan Graber of Waterloo, NE; aunts and uncles, Wayne and Anna Mae Graber of Roseville, IL and Charles Hays of Waterloo, NE; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial graveside service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2006, at the Memphis Cemetery with Pastors David Barton, of the Downing Baptist Church, and Scott McKay officiating. Inurnment in the Memphis Cemetery followed the service.
