BEULAH JEANETTE FRENCH

Beulah Jeanette French, 66, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of Memphis, MO, passed away September 2, 2006, at the Arbor View Health Care Center in St. Joseph, MO, after a long illness.

She resided in the care center and around the St. Joseph area for a little over four years. She had moved to the Memphis, MO area in 1993 from Mt. Sterling, IA.

The daughter of Harold Stanley and Gladys Breckenridge Morris she was born September 5, 1939 at Mt. Sterling, IA.

On January 1, 1961, she married Freddie French and to this union two children were born. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1991.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Harold French of St. Joseph, MO, and John French and wife, Holly of Lucerne Valley, CA; three grandchildren, Mark and Kyleigh French of St. Joseph, MO, and Seth Carrier of Lucerne Valley, CA; two sisters, Barbara Roberts of Memphis, MO and Carrol Franklin and her husband, Gordon of Eldon, IA; one brother, Darrel Morris and his wife, Carolyn of Bonaparte, IA, and several other relatives and friends.

The family has suggested memorials to the family, and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral services were held September 6, 2006, at the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO, with Pastor Phil Campbell officiating. Pallbearers were Richard Campbell, Charlie Brewer, Harold Carter, Bob Hatton, Don Vannoy and Rodney Warner. Interment was in the Harness Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, IA.
