Tigers Finish Fourth At Scotland County Relays

Schuyler County got by Scotland County on the final event of the Scotland County Relays April 27th in Memphis, dropping the Tigers to a fourth place finish in the only home meet of the year.

Clark County took top honors with 158 points followed by Putnam County with 118 points. The Rams were third with 89.5 points ahead of the Tigers 84.5 points. The Clark County JV team was fifth while North Shelby and Knox County tied for sixth and Canton was eighth.

Casey Parrish had the lone first-place finish for SCR-I, crossing the finish line ahead of the pack in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:00.14.

B.J. Houghton was second in the triple jump and also finished third in the long jump.

Brett Sagerty picked up second-place points in the 300-meter hurdles. Michael Keller took third in the 100-meter hurdles and Andrew Duley was third in the 3,200 meter run.

Daniel Schneider finished fifth in the 400-meter dash and Jacob Howard was sixth in the high jump.

Scotland County finished second in the 3,200-meter relay, the 800-meter relay, the 400-meter relay and the 1,600-meter relay.
