The Tigers opened play with an easy 225-30 victory over Marion Countyís B team. Julie Triplett answered 10 toss-up questions to lead SCR-I. Lance Smith had five answers and Loren Billington added two.

Scotland County blasted the Marion County A team 250-55 in match two. Smith led a balanced scoring effort with five toss-up questions. Michelle Lodewegen answered four and Billington had three.

Scotland County hit the finals bracket with a full head of steam, rolling past Canton 200-135 in game #3. Triplett did the bulk of the scoring with seven toss-up questions answered.

The teamís 3-0 mark and impressive victory margin earned Scotland County the #1 seed in the eight-team championship bracket.

Marion Countyís B team faired no better in the elimination rematch as the Tigers rolled to a 225-10 win in the semi-final match. Triplett answered seven toss-up questions. Smith answered six and Billington had four answers.

Canton nearly ended the Tigers day early. In the fifth match of the afternoon, Scotland trailed 85-60 at halftime before rallying to win 170-165. Billington topped the score book with six answers.

Knox County drew the task of stopping the SCR-I march to the title and the Eagles were not up to the task. Scotland County opened the match with a 40-0 run and cruised to the championship with a 220-100 win. Triplett answered seven toss-up questions.
