Lady Tigers Finish Strong at Eddy Relays

The Scotland County girls track team finished strong at the Eddy Relays hosted by Eddyville-Blakesburg High School on April 18th.

Ali Fromm crossed the finish line first in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:15. Betsey Kittle was seventh in the event. Fromm finished sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with Kittle taking eighth.

The Lady Tigers 4x200-meter relay team took top honors in the event. Runners were Jessica Bair, Andrea Shelley, Valerie Oldham and Kirsten Johnston.

Bair finished fifth in the 200-meter dash. Oldham took fifth in the 100-meter dash followed by Kaycee Paul in sixth. Ashlie Cooper earned fifth in the 800-meter run.

The SCR-I 4x100-meter relay team of Paul, Kittle, Kristan Kaldenberg and Oldham was second.
