Five Tiger Golfers Earn All-Conference Honors

With five interchangeable parts, it was only fitting that all five of the Scotland County varsity golf team members were honored by the Tri-Rivers Conference coaches when the all-conference teams were announced last week.

Juniors Matt Wickert and Marcus Shalley were named first-team all-conference. They joined Milan’s Andy Herington, Brookfield’s Richard Brossmer and Schuyler County’s Matt Stock.

SCR-I also received three of the seven slots of the conference’s second team.

Kyle Lister, Joe Spurgeon and Zach McBee earned second team honors along with Chris Oliver (Schuyler Co.), Chaz Walgren and Brett Carmical (Brookfield), and Tyson Alexander (Putnam Co).
