Show-Me Speedway Show Features Candy Dash, Fireworks and Plenty of Racing

The July 1st show at Show-Me Speedway in Downing brought some new faces to the track with 48 entries for racing action. The spectators were treated to special prize giveaways and a candy dash for the kids as well as a fireworks show following the races.

The rookies feature race went to #37 Joey Hagar with #39 Ben Bolden in second and #01 Jeana Noel finishing third.

Cole Campbell piloted the #22C to first place in the Junior I feature ahead of #12 Jacen Stotts and #31B Brady Bowling.

Wes Golden took the checkered flag in the Junior II race. The #3 kart finished ahead of #36 Teresa Hagar, and #6F Daniel Fischer.

The Stock Medium class saw #22 Adam Baker taking home the trophy with #12 Jennie Hutchinson in second and #15 Kirk Hopkins in third.

Tyler Griesbaum took his #3 kart to victory lane with a feature win in the Junior I Heavy division. He bested #8A Austin Logerman and #14 Autumn Elliott.

Golden took home his second trophy with a win in the Junior II Heavy class. Second place went to #7F Lucas Fischer with #34 Greg Tuggle in third.

The Masters class race was won by #48 David Kirkpatrick followed by #2 Jay Brush and #8 Tom Thelen.

The crowd got a scare when #00 Jeff Noel clipped the tower causing a roll over. But he was uninjured and was able to compete in the main event.

The 50/50 winner was Nancy Hudson of Memphis. Angie Noel won a T-shirt while Austin Logerman and Karissa Adams won radios.
