Memphis Man Hurt In Crash North of Town

A Memphis man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Friday evening, February 16th north of Memphis.

The accident occurred at 10:00 p.m. on Highway 15, one-mile north of Memphis.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Edwin H. Waters, 40, was northbound in a 2001 Ford, when he lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. The car went off the northside of the roadway and struck a culvert.

Waters suffered minor injuries and was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Hospital.

The patrol was assisted at the scene by the ambulance service, the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department and Scotland County Fire and Rescue.
