Stolen Car Recovered in Keokuk

A car stolen from a residence in Gorin was recovered in Keokuk, IA. The Scotland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a 1997 Ford Thunderbird. Owner Leallen H. Ramer reported the car stolen at 10:00 a.m. on June 25th. The car was believed to have been stolen the previous evening.

An officer with the Keokuk, IA, police department located the vehicle in the parking lot of Aldi’s grocery store at 5:30 p.m. on June 29th.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at 465-2106.
